With over 30 years’ experience in the sign industry, Ed has the knowledge to meet and understand the needs of every type of client.
Born in Portland and raised in Lebanon, OR, Ed started in the sign industry in Las Vegas, working with small business start-ups, major developers and major casinos.
An award-winning salesman, it’s not just Ed’s vast experience that makes him an asset to Security Signs, but his personal philosophy as well. With his client’s best interest in mind, Ed strives to always provide maximum value in our sign designs aiming to provide the best first impression; to convey in 6 seconds or less: “who you are, what you do, and most importantly how well you do it.” Ed understands that a sign isn’t simply an accessory, it’s an investment that has an undeniable rate of return.
When he’s not spending time with his children and grandchildren, riding his Harley or relaxing with Doris Kearns Goodwin’s latest Presidential biography, Ed is an avid golfer and fisherman. Ed is a champion poker player as well. In 2009 he beat out 1,000 other players earning the title of Marion County Texas Hold’em Poker champion! Ed has also officiated youth, high school and collegiate sports for over 20 years, working with organizations like the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. A graduate of WBL professional baseball camp, Ed was also able to officiate the USA Baseball Junior Championships in 1998.
